dLSoft  TouchTil

dLSoft TouchTill system (dTil) is a program designed to allow you to record sales, print receipts, tickets and delivery labels, order meals from your kitchen and summarise daily or period sales. TouchTil is ideal for use in a restaurant, bar, fast-food outlet, ticket booking office and a hundred and one other facilities where items for sale may be conveniently selected using a touch screen or a mouse. TouchTil does NOT transact card processing – although it will record and print a receipt once you have processed a card payment on your card payment machine.

You can download a trial version of TouchTil, including one of the sample databases by selecting one of the links below,  but please note the following: The product requires Microsoft .NET Framework, v 2.0, and SQL Express 2005. The download is large (about 70 MB)and will attempt to install these components if they are not already available on the target computer; this requires the acceptances of Microsoft Licences for these components. Vista users will also need to run Windows update immediately after installation and before running TouchTil to install the SQL Express service pack, and this may download another 30 MB file. Alternatively you can request the trial product on CD.

Licensing

Currently available as a single computer/single screen product or as a multi-point version for up to five networked computers.
A full licence will be provided only after the trial version has been downloaded and found suitable for use.

System requirements

Requires Windows XP (Service pack 2) or Vista.
Requires a Windows-supported printer (preferably a receipt printer). Multi-point version requires the machines are networked.

Useful additions would be a touch screen monitor and a printer-operated cash drawer.

dLSoft TouchTIl is designed for monitors of 800*600, 1027*768 or 1280*1024 pixels at 96 dpi. A version for the waiter's Handheld is scheduled for later this year.
