dLFaxMail Utility
- Read your incoming faxes by e-mail from anywhere
- Reduce wasted printouts by deleting junk faxes
dLFaxMail is a Windows service that runs alongside the Microsoft Fax service and is designed to relay faxes received by the Fax service to one or more e-mail addresses as attachments to e-mail messages.
To use dLFaxMail you need the following:
- Windows XP or Vista
- Microsoft .NET Framework v 1.1 or later (if not already installed this may be obtained from Windows Update)
- A compatible fax modem
- The Microsoft Fax service installed and operational – i.e. able to receive faxes (if not already installed the fax service is provided on the Windows XP CD)
- An always-on connection to the relevant network (internet or company network)
- EITHER a valid e-mail account through which
you can send e-mails from your PC
OR the Windows SMTP service installed (if not already installed the SMTP service is provided on the Windows XP CD)

The dLFaxMail service on your PC is controlled using a single controller window as shown below
Automatic start-up, so just set it and forget it. The service runs in the background and does not interfere with your settings of the Microsoft Fax service - so if you want your faxes printed on reception you can still have that happen.
How to obtain a licensed version
Once you have installed the trial version and are satisfied that it is useful for you, you can purchase a licensed copy for 59 UK pounds (+VAT at 17.5% if ordering from inside the European Union, total £69.32) by following the instructions in the readme file.
