Download options for dLSoft Point of Sale system

dLSoft Point of Sale system (dPoS) requires a number of optional Windows components before it can be used. This page provides the option of downloading either:

1. a complete installation package (which contains all the options but is large - about 85 MB), or

2. a smaller package (about 7 MB) that will download additional options if they are required on your machine. If you select this option then the machine on which you install dPoS must be connected to the internet during the installation process.

Note that after installation of dPoS you are advised to connect to Windows Update to obtain any security updates that may be relevant to the any Windows components installed.

Also note that if you are installing on Vista you will need to connect to Windows Update after the installation of dPoS to obtain updates for one or more of the Windows components before running dPoS.

Please select the option you require:

1. Complete dPoS installation package

2. Small dPos installation package

The components used by dPos include the following:

Microsoft .NET Framework, version 2.0
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express

If these either or both of these components are installed as part of the dPoS installation process please accept the default values in any dialog boxes displayed by the components during the installation process.
