LOGMARS 

(Logistics Applications of Automated Marking and Reading Symbols) 

LOGMARS is not really an unusual barcode type; it is a version of Code 39 
used by the U.S. Department of Defense and is governed by Military Standard 
MIL-STD-1189B. The Standard defines defines a number of parameters, such as 
print density, ratio, bar height, and size of the human-readable characters. 
The Modulus 43 check digit, usually optional with Code 39, is defined and 
recommended in the specification.

The checkdigit required (Code-39 auto checkdigit) may be calculated 
automatically in all dLSoft applications

Users of dLSoft barcode software who need to produce LOGMARS compatible 
barcodes MUST verify that their PRINTED barcodes images meet the standard 
required before production.
